🏆🔥🍳

WINNERS!

Newgrounders!

This jam….. Has been cooked and served.. 🍳

The kitchen has been closed, and the dishes have been cleaned 👀

First off I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the Newgrounds Cook Off Animation Jam!

We ended up with about 38 submissions to choose from, and we fought tooth and nail over the winners 😂 The creativity and variety from this bunch blew us all away, and it was amazing to see what everyone came up with!

And now…..

 🏆 THE WINNERS 🏆

6th Place - Ratpatootie

@sodacloud - $30

A fun animated short with clever quick gags that just made us laugh! There were a lot of little jokes packed into this one that kept us entertained. It was a really fun watch and a great way to round out our top 6!

5th Place - Mythixical #1 - Mythical Cookoff

@MythixTodd - $65

An animated Pilot that clearly had a lot of work put into it! This one had a killer style to it, and with a lot of personality in the designs. It really felt like the start of a brand new animated series!

4th Place - Tangerine Cook Off Jam

@WintryCartoons - $75

A cute and wonderfully done short! This one had a really fun and charming style, and was a very enjoyable watch. Gotta have those tangerines!

3rd Place - Recipe Mix-Up

@TootsieBabeKatie - $125

Easily one of the cleverest short in the jam, that had us dying at the ending, lol! Love the storytelling and character designs in this one, and it did a great job building everything up to the ending!

2nd Place - StWilloughby’s

@Sockrocket - $170

A beautifully animated short that is reminiscent of wacky cartoons, with an added bit of chaoticness to it! There was such much personality packed into this short, and it really was a fun watch all the way to the end, an amazing job!

1st Place - Don’t Forget the Meal Prep!

@Eugine1a2b - $250

One of the most mind blowing animations we’ve seen. The stop motion in this was amazing and had us wondering just how this was all done! There was so much smooth animation packed into this short, and seeing it all done in Lego stop motion was super impressive.

The music also felt very electrifying and made us pumped as we were watching it! A very well deserving 1st place winner!!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL SIX WINNERS!!!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉

There were a lot of great entries to choose from, and narrowing everything down to just six was definitely not an easy task!
